The best friendly family orientated service the food is excellent is one problem and I always address it to the owners and the only problem is that the plates are too small in other words hey load your plate with food you will not go home hungry try it you'll like it

Best home cooked food in the Merrimack Valley. The staff is the friendliest you're going to find anywhere. You;re always greeted with a genuine smile. Reasonable prices especially given how much food you get. Come hungry, because you'll leave full. The hardest part is deciding what to get.

Didn't feel welcome, I felt the brown of my skin called more attention then it should have. The food was ok average really but not bad at all... I was hoping to like it more especially because the photos of the food looked so good.... also the feeling I received was not by anyone who worked there but of the patrons who happened to be there at the time. Hopefully others will have a different experience then I had

Best corn bread ever, rich and moist

The food is so good! The price is a bit high, but well worth it for the quantity and quality. They have a good menu and a nice set up. They have stands for coats, hats, bags, and such. It has a classy old look to it, which distinguishes the place from many others. Enjoy your time here.

Just tried this place for the first time today after living in Haverhill for 8 years. I can't believe how I missed out on this place for so long! I got the roast turkey dinner and it was such a large helping for such an amazing price. I will absolutely be back.

This is not the place to go if you're looking for fancy or table service it's more like a cafeteria. But if you want well-prepared hearty food at a reasonable price you will not go wrong here. While I don't go here often I have been going here for 40 years and never been disappointed.

Still amazing home-cooked meals....shepherds pie and lasagna with plenty of flavor.

I ordered for delivery French toast with a side of bacon and coconut coffee!! Everything is great but the only downsides are:My butter melted and I got hot coconut coffee instead of iced!! Other than that everything is awesome!!!

A haverhill staple for a long time....the family run establishment cooks to order a great variety, and you can barely go wrong, whatever your taste!

My go-to place in Haverhill. Food is delicious. Service is fast and friendly. I usually go through the cafeteria style line rather then use their sit down service. I travel 1.5 hours just to have lunch here.

I've eaten here so many times with my mother, but I think it's about time I reviewed my experience here! Everyone here is so polite, and their food is just like you would have at home, it gives you a warm feeling inside! The diner is abit dated on it's appearance and food trays, but the food itself is fantastic! It's a great place to take family out to eat! Definitely stop by this hidden gem in haverhill, you won't be sorry!

I grew up with A-1 deli and i love them.

I've been coming here for my entire life! The food is amazing, the service great and the prices (albeit a tad bit high) is worth it for the amount of food you get. My go to is the Roast Beef Dinner, the Roast Beef is cooked daily, super tender and good to that perfect medium rare. The mashed potatoes are home made complete with lumps and the gravy is flavorful but not salty. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone!

Roast beef dinner is my go to for this place,. Would like to give four stars due to the aging of the place, but the superb quality and freindly staff , low prices, huge portions make up for it. 5 stars all day long
